Kasparov Chess Foundation today announced its 2010 Scholastic Championships Series, spanning two-thirds of the nation.  Foundation Chairman and legendary World Champion Garry Kasparov will be signing his latest books at the New York tournament and giving encouragement to all players.

The dates for the 2010 U.S. Championship have shifted to May 13-25. The 2010 Champs, set for the Chess Club an Scholastic Center of St.Louis will have a larger prize fund than 2009, with over $170,000 up for grabs.
