At the North American Open in Las Vegas (Dec.26-29), GM Hikaru Nakamura and IM David Pruess tied for first with 6/7 each.
After three rounds of the Pan-American Intercollegiate Championship (Miami, Dec.27-30), four teams have perfect scores: UTD A, UTD B, UMBC A, and Stanford. IM John Bartholomew reports.
