After seven days of fantasy chess, Ilan Meerovich leads the overall standings, Bob Halliday won the daily prize and Irina Krush is the number one key to success.
Although he was leading by a full point going into the round, Shulman was not content to coast, scoring a full point against Becerra with Black. In the women's, Krush leapfrogged over her main rival, Zatonskih, who lost to Tuvshintugs.
After six days of fantasy chess, Janani Ramachandran leads the overall standings, David Kaufman won the daily prize and women's leader Anna Zatonskih became one of three most valuable picks.
In round six of the Frank Berry U.S. Championship, Yury Shulman defeated Sergey Kudrin on board one, taking the clear lead with 5/6. In the women's, Irina Krush finally ceded a draw allowing Anna Zatonskih to surpass her with 5/5.
Shulman joined Kudrin on the top of the scoretable with his complicated win tonight over Kaidanov. Ludwig continues to impress with a victory over Kraai. In the women's Krush and Zatonskih roll on with 5/5 each.
After four rounds of the fantasy competition, Shankland, Ludwig and Krush are the the top keys to success. Karl Bodenheimer won the daily prize and leads the overall standings.
A victory over Varuzhan Akobian puts Sergey Kudrin in clear first in the Frank Berry U.S. Championship, with 3.5/4. In the women's, Irina Krush and Anna Zatonskih still have 4/4 each.
