After a round five loss, Gata Kamsky scored a draw in round six of the World Chess Challenge (Sofia, Feb.16-28). GM Ian Rogers analyzes the game six battle. The match resumes on Thursday.
14-year-old Ray Robson has 3.5/6 and a 2650+ performance rating in the Aeroflot Open. Test to see if in critical positions, you can "Play Like Ray." American GM Melikset Khachiyan is also shining in the "A2" section, with 5/6.

Jimmy runs Deep, composed of Jim Dean, Garrett Smith, Drew Hollinberger and Danny Gater won the U.S. Amateur Team North in Wakusha, Wisconsin with 5/5.
In round three of the World Chess Challenge match in Sofia, Bulgaria (Feb. 16-28), Gata Kamsky calmed down with a round three draw. This time, Topalov chose a different but equally sharp line against the Grunfeld.

The winning team "Palin Gambit: I can see checkmate from my house!" went 6-0, and included, Paul Mac Intyre, Brian Hulse, Libardo Rueda and Alan Price.
Gata Kamsky lost the second game of the World Chess Challenge Match (Feb. 16-28) against GM Veselin Topalov. Tomorrow is a rest day, but root on a Kamsky comeback starting at 8 AM EST on Friday.
