Our US Olympic teams swept the Faroe Islands (Open) and Dominican Republic (women's) in round 1 of the Olympiad! You can watch the live games daily on the official site at 5 AM EST.

Check out two convincing but opposite examples below. US Women's Champion Irina Krush executed a quick attack, while our US Champion Gata Kamsky proved yet again that trading pieces against a much higher rated player does not automatically make a game drawish.
