The final eight of the World Women's Championship

The final four is nearly set at the Women's World Championship in Antakya, Turkey (December 2-25). Rating favorites Humpy Koneru and Hou Yifan are in and will face-off in the semifinals. Xue Zhao also advanced, defeating Almira Skripchenko is the second game. Play through some decisive games below:





US resident Lufei Ruan, who plays for China and Harika Dronavalli (India) drew both their regular games and will playoff tomorrow. Update: US resident Lufei Ruan advances!
