mil300.jpgThe Pan-American Championships are in full swing in Milwaukee. Undefeated teams after three rounds include two teams from the University of Texas at Brownsville, the University of Maryland Baltimore County and the University of Texas at Dallas. Organizer Alex Betaneli says, "In the most surprising turn of events, Midwest has nice, sunny weather. As a result many participants came from MN and IL. Yet, the weather did play a trick and vicious one: with several airports closed on the East coast, one of the teams (Brown University) was reduced to 3 players. On the brighter side, shall a snowstorm transpire on Thursday, all participants can celebrate New Year's together!"
