Welcome to USCF's new web site! Print E-mail
September 13, 2007
This is the new USCF web site as of Friday, September 14, 2007.

This page contains information about the transition which may be helpful to some of our members and guests.

For registered users of the previous version of our website (beta.uschess.org)
: For full USCF Member privileges on this new site, please re-register on this site, via the Free Site Registration here or on most other pages.  You will need your USCF ID# and PIN code.

For current registered users of the USCF Forums: Your account has been transferred to this new web site.  Please log in using your USCF Forum username and password in the form on the left side of most pages throughout the site.  If you have changed your password within the last week or so, you may need to try the previous password, or to use the Lost Password? link on the left on most pages.  If you have difficulties logging in, please click Contact here or on the top of most pages, and send a message to us, subject: Website Issues.

For past users of USCF's forums
: If you are a current USCF member, your previous forum username is reserved for you if you wish; simply enter that username in the registration process, along with your USCF ID# and PIN code.  Established forum usernames may only be claimed by the USCF member who previously used that identity.

This is a new site; please push all the buttons and twist all the knobs.  Report problems as Website Issues in the Contact form. Check the announcements, and please don't mind the construction while we do a bit more finishing and tidying up.

  • CL & CLO are up to date; ignore the "funny characters" - we know about the issue and have a solution in the works. Please try making comments on the articles!
  • "About USCF" is hidden while undergoing construction.
We hope you enjoy some of the exciting new things uschess.org has to offer, such as a new organization (try Searching and the Site Map!), a streamlined login process, organized archives and the slide show above.

Chess Life Online may not be front and center on the home page now, but will still be available via RSS feed. If you are used to having CLO as your uschess.org home page, you should bookmark it so you don't miss any of the freshest news. A World Championship tournament is starting in Mexico City — the rest of September promises to be a great time for chess. So, please make yourself at home with us!
