thumb_earth_oblique.jpgEarthlings have chosen 11. ... Qb6, still eying the land-locked rook on f1.

Is the rook doomed?  Can Astronaut Greg Chamitoff find a saving grace?  Is there a tactic which will save the Exchange? Have Earthlings missed a golden opportunity?  Will the ponderous pachyderm (rook on f1) be saved from immediate peril?

Tune in daily to the ongoing saga of As the World Turns, brought to you by NASA and the US Chess Federation, and find out what Greg has planned for his earth-bound opponents.
