The American women's team beat Russia 3-1 today at the Dresden Olympiad. The big win was spearheaded by wins from Irina Krush over Women's World Champion Alexandra Kosteniuk and Anna Zatonskih over Tatiana Kosintseva. The men scored 1.5/4, with Gata Kamsky posting an impressive win over Svidler on board one, Onischuk drawing against Morozevich on board three and Hikaru Nakamura and  Varuzhan Akobian losing to Grischuk and Javonenko on boards two and four.
