Governance
The United States Chess Federation (USCF) is incorporated under the Illinois statutes as a Not For Profit organization. Its charter and Bylaws can be found in the Annual Report published each June. The US Chess Federation is governed by a Board of Delegates (apportioned based on USCF membership per state) who meet annually, and an Executive Board which concerns itself with situations that arise between annual Delegates' meetings. The members of the Executive Board and the Delegates are elected by Voting Members Any current member residing in the USA who is 16 years of age or older as of the time of an election is eligible to vote. |
