USCF College Chess Committee
pawn.pngThe USCF College Chess Committee holds five major college tournaments each year:
  • The Individual Online Championship is held in Autumn
  • College Chess Tournament of Champions held during the U.S. Open in August
  • Pan-American Intercollegiate Championship , our premiere OTB event, December 27-30: To have a letter sent to your college president or official discussing the details of the 2008 Pan-American Intercollegiate, contact the Chair of the USCF College Chess Committee, Jim Stallings, at james.stallings@utdallas.edu
  • Online Team Championships in February
  • Final Four event where the top four universities play a round robin
It is our mission to constantly improve competitive participation in university chess clubs, and to build an organization that could provide the university chess scene with community support.
