USCF College Chess Committee |
The USCF College Chess Committee holds five major college tournaments each year:
- The Individual Online Championship is held in Autumn
- College Chess Tournament of Champions held during the U.S. Open in August
- Pan-American Intercollegiate Championship , our premiere OTB event, December 27-30: To have a letter sent to your college president or official discussing the details of the 2008 Pan-American Intercollegiate, contact the Chair of the USCF College Chess Committee, Jim Stallings, at james.stallings@utdallas.edu
- Online Team Championships in February
- Final Four event where the top four universities play a round robin
It is our mission to constantly improve competitive participation in university chess clubs, and to build an organization that could provide the university chess scene with community support. Volunteers from universities across the country have come together to build and support the CCL. If you're interested in joining us, or if you have any questions, please contact us.
