Bay Area Chess Summer Camps: 3 June to 23 August 2013 Bay Area Chess offers summer camps at FIVE different locations (Palo Alto, San Jose/Cupertino, Santa Clara, Millbrae and Burlingame) throughout the entire summer: starting from June 3 through August 23 . Morning, mid-day, afternoon classes consist of 3 hours of chess instructions and 2 snack breaks. Whole day schedules and additional services (lunch, late pick-up) are available for your convenience. We offer multiple-weeks and sibling discounts.
Special Master Chess Camps are offered for kids rated over 1000 and taught by GM Moradiabadi, IM Emory Tate, SM Arun Sharma, and/or other GM/IM level instructors.

International Chess Academy Scholastic Chess Camp With WGM Tatiana Grabuzova, and WFM Hana Itkis: 9 Weeks from 4 June 2013 to 23 August 2013. Our longest running camp provides younger school children the opportunity to experience the joy of competitive chess, and the insane off the wall fun of summer. Mondays through Fridays from 9 am to 3:00 pm. – half day; or 9 am to 5 pm – full day. We offer a 5:1 student – teacher / instructor ratio, prizes and trophies for tournaments and various (including sports!) competitions, camp T-shirts and insane levels of FUN! 12th ANNUAL MID-SOUTH SUMMER CHESS CAMP, 9-15 JUNE 2013: THE PREMIER CHESS CAMP OF THE SOUTH, FOR ALL AGES AND ALL LEVELS, IN MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE. Accepting both residential and commuter students, this camp is centrally located in Memphis, Tennessee and held on the beautiful campus of Lausanne Collegiate School. The camp instructors include GM Alexander Stripunsky, GM Alex Onischuk, IM Irina Krush - reigning US Women's Champion, IM Teddy Coleman, IM Jake Kleiman, and Early Childhood Instructor MM Andre Duvall. These instructors, who represent years of extensive chess coaching experience, are considered among the best in the country. We divide our campers into small groups according to age and ability each with a counselor to monitor their every move.

This is a whirlwind five and a half day, fun and excitement-filled chess camp with hours of age and level appropriate instruction, combined with special activities including sports, interactive chess play, and optional evening chess and sport activities. Instructors rotate throughout the day - what a difference this makes! Camp includes Sunday afternoon opening reception and orientation for parents and campers and simul with the instructors and a unique camp designed t-shirt, trophy, autographed certificate, group photo and daily souvenir. 19th Annual Denver Rocky Mountain Chess Camps: June 10-14, 2013 (Englewood) – full and half day options - and July 8-10, 2013 (Englewood). All abilities and ages. 8:1 Staff-Student ratio. International Chess Academy “Master Camp” Under IM Sergey Grabuzov: 9 Weeks from 24 June 2013 to 23 August 2013, Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For students rated 1400, and higher, IM Grabuzov’s expert training camp offers class level players the opportunity to accelerate their development towards becoming expert level players. Anatoly Karpov Chess Camp, July 7-12, 2013, with Grandmaster Var Akobian. The Karpov Chess School summer chess camp program is held in Lindsborg, Kansas ("Little Sweden, U.S.A.") and is designed for chess players of all strengths and level of experience, ages 6 to adult, who want to improve their game while enjoying the company of fellow chess enthusiasts. On Monday through Friday, campers will participate in a US Chess Federation rated tournament followed by individual game analysis. Additionally, instructive sessions are given each day. After the afternoon session, participants are given 90 minutes of supervised free time for various activities, the most popular activities being soccer or swimming. Maggie L. Walker Governor's School Dragon Chess Camp: 8-12 July 2013 Want to improve your game-play this summer? Come learn chess the fun way from the Maggie Walker Chess Team. Our one-week chess day camp will help you develop a better understanding and improve your game. The Dragon Chess Camp features three separate learning tracks designed to provide skill-appropriate instruction for players ranging from complete beginners through advanced intermediate scholastic players. Instruction is provided by advanced players from the Maggie Walker Chess Team, with classroom assistance from advanced adult players from the greater-Richmond area. All Star Summer Chess Training School: June 24 -28 and August 5-9, 2013 FIDE Trainer and Senior Master Lou Mercuri announces the 12th annual All Star Chess Training School to be held at the Brigham Community Center in Newton Massachusetts (just outside of Boston) the weeks of June 24 to June 28 and August 5 to August 9 2013.
